Gangani Silva has over twenty years of experience in academic and industrial settings. In academia, she has studied human pathological conditions such as Cardiovascular and Prion diseases utilizing optical spectroscopies and variety of mass spectrometry techniques. Since joining Avecia eleven years ago, she and her team have been applying various mass spectrometry approaches on oligonucleotide sequencing, impurity analyses, related method developments, and method validations. Gangani received her Ph.D. in Bioanalytical Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA.
