Andrew Rodriguez has worked as a Process Chemist at Ionis Pharmaceuticals for the last 14 years, where he strives to optimize the various synthetic and purification processes used in oligonucleotide manufacture and to characterize oligonucleotide impurities. Andrew is a synthetic chemist by training who earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UC Irvine and a B.S. in Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara.
