Florence holds a LL.M in European and International Trade Law from the University of Leicester, UK, and a DESS (postgraduate degree in Law) from the University Jean-Moulin, Lyon, France. With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Florence has held key legal positions at renowned organizations. At the Merck group, Florence served as Legal Counsel, Head of Legal, and Compliance Officer. She also contributed as a Senior International Counsel and Legal Director at MSD, and as an Assistant General Counsel at Catalent. In addition, Florence has provided consultancy services to various pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Currently, Florence serves as a Senior Legal Counsel in the BD, Manufacturing, and Research Legal Department at Merck, where she plays a crucial role in supporting strategic partnerships and providing legal guidance on global manufacturing agreements to internal stakeholders.
