Jahid has spent the last 10 years developing cell and gene therapy bioprocessing and analytical capability and now finds himself leading the Allogeneic Cell Therapies core programme. Jahid specialises in bioprocess translation with a strong focus on process automation and scale up and is also responsible for device development projects looking at novel downstream processing applications. He originally trained as a Biochemical Engineer at University College London (UCL) and has a doctorate degree in Tissue Engineering from the University of Leeds in 2014 which focused on the decellularisation of porcine bone-meniscus-bone for use as a meniscal replacement.
