Sünje is a Customer Application Specialist at Merck focusing on Upstream. She has more than 10 years of industry experience, including research and development, process development, cGMP manufacturing, and technical consulting. She started her career in the Contract Development and Manufacturing field focusing on biologics. She joined Merck in 2019 as Account Manager and since 2020 she is part of the Technical Application - Upstream Processing Team. Sünje holds a Diploma in Zoology, Physiological Chemistry and Microbiology from the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz, Germany, and a PhD in Biology from the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany.
