Martin Lemmerer is heading Takedas Advanced Analytical Technologies Europe group within Analytical Development based in Vienna. The focus of this group is evaluation, development and implementation of novel PAT tools for bioprocess monitoring/control. Prior to joining Takeda Martin served as Analytical Scientific Expert at Fresenius Kabi Graz developing analytical methods to characterize complex small molecule formulations. Martin started his career at Sandoz Kundl/Novartis Cambridge working in the biologics developability assessment team with focus on analytical method development, pre-formulation studies and lab automation. Martin has earned his PhD in bioprocess technology form the Technical University of Graz and his Masters in biotechnology from Harvard Extension School Cambridge USA.
