Jose Ortiz Tena role is People Lead in Bioprocess Optimization within Manufacturing Science and Technology. He is accountable for technical improvements of bioprocesses for ADI production (ADI: Active Diagnostic Ingredients). He coordinates internal and external stakeholders in projects aligned with Roche Diagnostics CapEx Strategy. Jose has nearly 10 years of experience applying Industrial Biotechnology in fields such as food, biobased chemicals, and ultimately diagnostics. Open to meeting new people, he continuously questions the status quo and bears a curious mind toward innovation. He graduated from the Technical Institute of Morelia, Mexico and completed his Master and Doctorate at the TU in Munich.
