João Henrique Santos is a DSP scientist (TR&D) in Polpharma Biologics. João has more than 3 years of experience as a scientist in biopharma companies (uniQure and Polpharma Biologics). He is the line manager of a team of research associates and is currently leading more than 5 internal projects in Polpharma Biologics. João was Associate Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (São Paulo University) and got Joint PhD from University of Aveiro and University of São Paulo in Bioengineering. For the last 5 years, he has been an invited Professor at the Institute of Drug Technology (Farmanguinhos). Author and co-author of 34 articles in international peer-reviewed multidisciplinary high-impact journals (832 citations, h-index 16), 3 book chapters, numerous presentations (oral and poster) in national and international conferences; peer reviewer.
