Profile

Wei Zhang is currently Director of Analytical Development and CMC leader in Ultragenyx Gene Therapy. In Ultragenyx, Wei leads analytical method development and process and analytical development activities to support an early-stage gene therapy program. Wei is currently leading a late-stage CMC team devoted to post-commercial CMC activities. Prior to Ultragenyx, Wei was a scientist in Homology Medicines and Avitide Inc. Wei has extensive academic training in genomics and genetics.
