Yan is a CMC lead working with regulatory, quality, and supply teams at CSL Behring to ensure the commercial supply of Hemgenix, and also a core team member for technical transfer.

After postdoctoral training with Dr. James M. Wilson at University of Pennsylvania, Yan has accumulated over 15 years industry experience, including providing scientific leadership to CGT products testing services at WuXi AppTec and Charles River Laboratories, designing clinical and commercial manufacturing programs for CGT products at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, and leading analytical development for IND submission of a AAV based GT product at Spirovant Sciences, Inc., prior to joining CSL Behring.
