Dr. Younghoon Oh received a master’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Sogang University (South Korea) in 2011. He joined the Center for Bio-based Chemistry at Korea Research Institute of Technology as a Researcher where he contributed to the development of microbial fermentation processes for production of bio-based chemicals. He received a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (University of Delaware) under the supervision of Dr. Lenhoff, where he studied host-cell protein persistence in monoclonal antibody manufacturing. He Joined Janssen Pharmaceuticals of Johnson & Johnson in 2022 as a scientist where he is developing downstream processes for antibody products and continuously exploring persistence of host-cell proteins.
