Namila is a Downstream process development scientist at Spark Therapeutics. She received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 2020. Her thesis work focuses on evaluating and understanding the impacts of filtration conditions on virus filter performances. She is also specialized in the virus safety and virus clearance of biopharmaceuticals. Namila joined Spark in 2021, and she is currently working on the process development and tech transfer of virus filtration unit operation.
