Lara Ionescu Silverman PhD is founder and Principal Consultant at LIS BioConsulting, which provides strategic and advisory services to early stage cell and gene therapy companies. Dr Silverman’s focus is helping companies define and execute science-driven, cost effective activities that lead to early stage clinical testing in order to bring more novel treatments to patients in need. Dr Silverman spent 10 years as the Head Scientist at an allogeneic cell therapy company, overseeing technical aspects of product and process development, regulatory interactions, corporate strategy and intellectual property. She received her PhD from University of Pennsylvania in Bioengineering and her BSE from Princeton University in Chemical Engineering.
