Juan Sebastian Reyes Davila is a driven Chemical Engineering PhD candidate with a focus on soft sensor development for bioprocessing applications. With expertise in exploratory multivariate data analysis and technology transfer projects, he has contributed to various projects at the Biotherapeutics department of the National Research Council of Canada. Sebastian earned his bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia and then went on to pursue a Master's degree in biotechnology from McGill University. He is highly passionate about integrating advanced data science principles with bioprocessing platforms to improve process efficiency and yield, with the goal of advancing the field of biotherapeutics production.
