Grzegorz (Greg) Gmyrek is a Senior scientist leading flow cytometry assay development at Scorpius Biomanufacturing, San Antonio, TX. Prior to this position, Greg worked as a Scientist for 10+ years in multiple laboratories, including Purdue University Cytometry Laboratory, Washington University School of Medicine, Feinberg School of Medicine, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, and Oklahoma University Health Sciences. Greg has significantly contributed to clinical and basic research and has authored 20+ peer-reviewed research articles. His research interests include virology, gynecology, vaccines, autoimmunity, cancer research, and aging. Greg completed MS and PhD in Biological Sciences in Poland, before coming to the USA. Greg is a certified Specialist in Cytometry with the American Society for Clinical Pathology's SCYM certification and has developed assays using conventional as well as spectral flow cytometers.
