Francesca leads Intellia’s viral vector and cell therapy process development, manufacturing sciences and vector core services. She has held technical leadership roles in Process and Analytical Development, Manufacturing, and Tech Ops at a multinational CDMO and multiple regenerative medicine start-ups and supported programs spanning the product development lifecycle. Prior, she held (junior or) faculty positions at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas A&M and received her PhD in genetics from University of Siena. Designing and deploying innovation in genetic medicine through motivated, high-performing teams in order to improve lives of patients impacted by genetic disease has motivated Francesca’s journey through academia, entrepreneurship and industry.
