Emily Rittershaus is currently a Senior Scientist in the Upstream Biologics Development, Global Product Development and Supply at BMS Devens, MA. Emily has a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from McGill University in Montreal, QC, Canada and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, MA. Emily has worked in the Upstream Process Development group at Bristol-Myers Squibb for the past four years, performing different functions such as leading upstream process development for various assets, characterization, and technical transfer for both fed batch and perfusion processes. Emily previously worked at Sanofi Genzyme as a postdoctoral scientist in Upstream Process Development in Framingham, MA.
