Carrie Mason is an Associate Director in the Lonza Biologics Mammalian R&D Group. She heads a multidiciplinary center of excellence responsible for the identification, development and roll out of Process Analytical Technologies with associated automation. She has over twenty five years of industrial experience with expertise in separation science development, analytical methodologies, and is currently building knowledge of bioreactor operations. She has a proven track record of supporting process technology transfers within both the clinical and commercial environment, from lab scale to 20K. She has guided her team and company in the roll out of Raman modeling and automation offering for CDMO clients. Carrie is a participant in BioPhorum and the BioInnovation Group and has a passion for the general advancement of innovation in biomanufacturing as well as inspiring the next generations of scientists.
