Athreya Ramesh has been with Pfizer Inc. since June 2021. Prior to joining Pfizer, Athreya completed his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering at Tufts University in May 2021. During his time at Tufts University, Athreya worked in the Synthetic Biology and Systems Bioengineering Lab designing whole-cell catalyst systems for the production of valuable sugar substitutes and optimizing bacterial cell lines to produce high activity enzymes for bacterial therapeutics. Since starting at Pfizer, Athreya has worked primarily on upstream cell-free process development and high throughput automation innovation.
