John S. Schardt earned his BSc from Lehigh University in 2013, and his PhD from the University of Maryland in 2018 as a joint fellow with the National Cancer Institute. He conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan as an NIH F32 fellow. John joined AstraZeneca in the Biologics Engineering group in 2022, focusing on the development of next-generation T cell engager modalities. Overall, his research applies molecular discovery and engineering approaches to develop novel therapeutic strategies for immuno-oncology, infectious disease, and more.
