Bonnie Shum is a member of the Global Biological Manufacturing Science and Technology group at Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, where she is responsible for downstream technical transfers to CMOs and network alignment activities. She joined Genentech in 2013 as an engineer in the Manufacturing Equipment Reliability, Drug Substance Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (DS-MSAT) group at South San Francisco manufacturing facility. Prior to Genentech, she started her career at Sanofi Genzyme as a process engineer with the BioProcess Engineering group in Framingham, MA, with a focus on single-use sampling devices and numerical modeling of mass transfer in bioreactors.
She holds a M.S.C.E.P in Chemical Engineering Practice and a B.S. in Chemical-Biological Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a M.S. in Chemical Pharmaceutical Engineering From National University of Singapore.
