Cinzia Gazziola has a master degree in Biology and a Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Padova, Italy. After about 10 year working as scientist at various Universities, she started her career as regulatory professional in 2003 in a pharmaceutical company in The Netherlands focusing mostly on biotech products. In this role she was responsible for various activities as covering quality, non-clinical and clinical aspects and leading the interactions with authorities. Since 2013 she joined Roche in Basel as Technical Drug Regulatory Affairs Manager and she has been accountable for the quality activities and regulatory strategies for the maintenance of core commercial biologics. During the last 2 years she also worked on some of the oligonucleotide-based products of Roche pipeline. She is also a contributor of the European Pharmaceutical Oligonucleotide Consortium (EPOC).
