William M. Pardridge, M.D. is Distinguished Professor Emeritus, University of California, and Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of ArmaGen, Inc. Dr. Pardridge has worked on the blood-brain barrier (BBB) since 1970 and is the author of over 500 publications in the field. He is the inventor of the BBB molecular Trojan horse technology, which has enabled the re-engineering of multiple classes of biologic drugs (lysosomal enzymes, therapeutic antibodies, neurotrophins, or decoy receptors) as BBB-penetrating recombinant proteins for brain disorders.
