Ambreen Athar is a Senior Digital Health Advisor in the Division of Digital Health Policy within the FDA’s Digital Health Center of Excellence (DHCoE) at the Office of Strategic Partnerships and Technology Innovation (OST). She is a recent addition to the team, supporting the development and implementation of policies related to digital health technologies. Ambreen’s focus is on supporting DHCoE’s initiatives around Emerging Tech Regulation, Guidance Development, and International Harmonization. Prior to joining the agency, Ambreen earned a Master of Science in Management of Technology at the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs of Medical Devices at St. Cloud State University. She has over 20 years of industry experience in the medical device industry and has supported a broad range of products and projects while in a regulatory affairs role.
