Bringing The Clinical World Together Under One Roof

Driving change together.

One of the biggest challenges facing the industry at present is efficiency. Time, cost, resource are all major hurdles which are delaying life-saving cures from reaching patients faster, requiring much consideration. But with limited resources, where to start is the big question.

But what if everyone worked together, could this change? Big collaborative stakeholder projects and key associations dedicated to advancing technology and it's uptake in this space, as well as patients-as-partners initiatives, suggest the industry is moving in the right direction when it comes to collaborative thinking for more efficient results.

But what else could we be doing? It's time to make a difference. To show a united front. It's time to accelerate the path to therapeutic development - together.

Clinical Trial Sponsors:

Sponsors, responsible for initiating, managing and financing (or arranging the financing) clinical trials research, are most often pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device manufacturers, institutions, organisations, or groups of organisations, and sometimes a single individual.

Clinical Trials Europe provides valuable content for all clinical trial sponsors.

Clinical Trial Patients And Patient Advocacy Groups:

Connecting patients with clinical trials can be life changing, and patient advocacy groups are making moves to ensure patients are supported and have the best chance of finding a suitable medicine or cure to help them live a longer healthier life. Additionally, patients and advocacy groups are playing a vital role in making the clinical trials process a more pleasant one for patients, working together with industry to improve patient experience and engagement, reduce drop-off rates and increase the speed at which potential cures can become available for public use.

Consortiums And Associations In The Clinical Trials Space:

Driving change in the clinical trials space, with practical and strategic standpoints, collaborative and developmental approaches, to disease specific and therapeutic focused and beyond, consortiums and associations working in the clinical trials space are hugely instrumental in promoting awareness and advancing scientific knowledge, operational progression and new therapeutic development.

Clinical Research Organisations (CROs):

Organising and conducting clinical trials to test new molecules in humans, CROs tend to hold a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through partnering with many different companies and offering an objective assessment, positioning them well for the key role and substantial responsibility they hold in the clinical trials space.

Clinical Industry Suppliers, Vendors and Technology Providers:

The products, services and technologies provided by supplier/vendor companies have a vital part to play in keeping the clinical trials cogs turning. From basic computer software to fully integrated data analysis platforms, innovation in this space is going above and beyond to make the clinical trials end-to-end process smoother, faster, easier and of higher quality.

Clinical Industry Consultants:

Bridging the gap between ideas and know-how, consultants play a key role in supporting and advising industry professionals on taking the appropriate steps to get from A to B, best practices and strategic application. Consultants play a major role in many areas from implementing clinical operations strategies and new technologies, to alignment of processes to solution design and functionality, to regulatory submissions, and beyond.
