Xiuli Wang
Research Professor at City of Hope National Medical Center


Dr. Wang, research professor, has a Ph.D. in hematology from University of Oslo, Norway with further postdoctoral training in the Department of BMT/Immunology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, USC.  She joined City of Hope National Medical Center in 2006. She has been leading translation research on chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) redirected T cells for the treatment of hematological malignancies including leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma ever since. She has a long-standing interest in improving the efficacy and safety of adoptively transferred T cells in patients by optimizing cell population for manufacturing, CAR design, and developing CMV specific bispecific CAR T cell platform. She is also leading the development of immunotherapeutic preclinical models and biomarker discovery in clinical trials.
