Oliver Spadiut completed his PhD in Biotechnology at BOKU University, Vienna, Austria, in 2008 before doing a 2-year PostDoc at KTH, Stockholm, Sweden. Since 2010, he has been employed in the research area Biochemical Engineering at TU Wien, Vienna, Austria. In March 2015, he got his Habilitation in “Biotechnology” and is currently Full Professor and PI of the research group “Integrated Bioprocess Development.” He has published more than 170 papers in reputed journals and is serving as a peer-reviewer for 80 scientific journals.
