Holger LauxFellow at Novartis Cell Line Development
Dr. Laux is leading the global cell line development network of Novartis. He has obtained his PhD at Ludwig Maximilans University in Munich focusing on genomics in the field of oncology. He started his career at LGC in London working on establishing genomics standards. Afterwards he worked at St. Georges university in London on a variety of transcriptomics approaches in clinical pharmacology. In 2008 he started as a labhead in Novartis. Throughout his time at Novartis he focused on functional genomics approaches as transcriptomics screens and subsequently cell line engineering approaches. These efforts resulted in generation of several improved novel CHO production cell lines. Since 2 year he is leading the global cell line development network at Novartis.
