Sandeep, a seasoned expert in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, boasts over two decades of experience in the industry. As a Sr. Technology Fellow at NIIMBL, he championed the construction of the Biomanufacturing Readiness Level (BRL) framework, co-led the ambitious Big Data Program, and offered instrumental support for the AAV Vector manufacturing program. Previously, as Head of CMC Product Development at Sobi, Sandeep adeptly managed vendor activities, oversaw manufacturing processes, and supported pivotal regulatory submissions. His tenure at Alkermes, Biogen, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, and DSM Pharmaceuticals further augmented his repertoire, with a focus on CMC strategies, process development, and tech transfers. Sandeep holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Bombay (India).
