Kathryn Beal is a Principal Scientist in Pfizer’s Cell Line Development group, specializing in the area of molecular biology and CHO expression systems. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Cellular, Molecular and Developmental Biology at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) in 2004. She continued on at UNH and was awarded a teaching assistantship to earn her master’s degree in Genetics in 2006. Kathryn joined Wyeth BioPharma in 2007 in the Cell and Molecular Sciences group. Following the Wyeth/Pfizer merger in 2009, Kathryn continued on in Pfizer’s Cell Line Development group, where she presently works.
