Chao Huang Ph.D. is currently working in Ultragenyx as a Director of Downstream Process Development. Chao leads a team of engineers and scientists responsible for developing purification processes of both early and late-stage Adeno-associated Viral Product. Prior to this capacity, Chao worked on process development of monoclonal antibody and fusion proteins in Bristol-Myer Squibb Company at Devens MA site. Chao held a Ph.D. of Biochemistry from the University of Rochester and accumulated over 14 years of industrial experience in process development of therapeutic drugs.
