Aaron Chen, PhD, is the Director in BioProcess Development department at Pfizer, leading both Cell Culture Process Development and Material Generation Team. His groups focus on both early- and late-stage upstream process developments, process scale-up/-down, technology development, technology transfer, and pilot-scale mAb material supply generation from thaw to bottle. Aaron received his Ph.D. degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, in 2013. Prior to getting his Ph.D. degree, he worked for Irvine Scientific and Genentech focusing on cell culture media development and upstream process development, respectively.
