Joe Orlando, Ph.D. is an R&D Director at MilliporeSigma. Through his 15+ years with the company, he has worked to develop products for the BioProcessing Industry as well as support client manufacture of both recombinant proteins and viral vectors at the respective CDMOs. He currently leads Technology & Innovation R&D teams that are focused at improving the performance metrics of GMP manufacture of both biologics and viral vectors. Joe has an academic background in virology and cell biology and is an active supporter of STEM.
