Marci Sindell, Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President, External Affairs for Atrius Health, is a versatile healthcare executive with a 30-year track record of producing positive results in new organizational initiatives across communications, services and product marketing, sales, operations and government relations. At Atrius Health, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit medical group delivering a system of connected care to 720,000 patients across Eastern Massachusetts, Sindell leads Atrius Health’s strategy development, most recently launching an innovative payer-provider collaboration with Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA. Sindell also heads the marketing, public relations, public policy, and government relations programs for Atrius Health, and led Atrius Health to be selected as a Medicare Pioneer ACO in 2012. Sindell joined Harvard Vanguard in 2006 as the Vice President of Marketing. Previously, she held a variety of senior management positions at Haemonetics Corporation, a medical device company, including Senior Vice President, Business Design and Vice President, North American Marketing, and has also held positions in operations at Millipore Corporation and Corning Glass Works.

Sindell received her bachelor’s degree in materials engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. She serves on the Board of the Massachusetts Health Council, the WGBH Corporate Executive Council, the Health Care Transformation Task Force, and the Health Policy Commission Advisory Council.
