Mr. Eby is the Founder and CEO of the Cambridge Science Corporation, a life sciences operating company incubating in-house technologies, and providing capital to external early stage biotechnology research and development being conducted both in academic labs and startups. He is a Co-Founder and CEO of Vivtex, a biotech company commercializing transformative drug formulation and delivery technology developed in the Langer Lab at MIT. Mr. Eby is a past Harvard Fellow in the University’s Advanced Leadership Initiative and a current Senior Fellow at Harvard Law School, where he is leading the Innovative Funding Models for Translational Research Project at the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology and Bioethics. He has served as a director of several public companies including the Markel Corporation, Level 3 Communications, and CBRE Realty Finance, and as an advisory director of Sallie Mae. Mr. Eby has served on the boards on numerous nonprofits including Suburban Hospital – John Hopkins Medicine, where he was chairman of the investment committee.
