James ScullyPrincipal Process Engineer at Regeneron, Ireland
James Scully is a Principal Process Engineer working within the Process Sciences team in Regeneron. The main focus of his work is the development of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models to aid the optimization of the biopharmaceutical process. His main area of research currently includes the scalability and comparability of bioreactors. Prior to joining Regeneron, James received his PhD from the University of Limerick, where he investigated the numerical modelling of polymorphism of crystals within stirred tanks. On completion of his studies, he joined the Rusal Aughinish Alumina R&D team, specializing in multiphase CFD.
