Shohei Koide, Ph.D. is a synthetic protein scientist. His research integrates structure-guided design and directed evolution to design highly functional but still simple protein molecules. He is the inventor of the FN3 Monobody technology, and he has also made important contribution to the development of synthetic antibody libraries. His current research focuses on the discovery of cancer therapeutics and on strategies to control "undruggable" targets. Previously he was Professor at University of Chicago and at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
