Kai is a process chemistry and development leader with extensive experience in developing products and processes for nucleic acids (nucleosides, phosphoramidites, nucleotides, and oligonucleotides) ranging from research, process development, and process validation. He has over 15 years of experience leading product and process development teams with past employers that include Thermo Fisher Scientific, GE Healthcare, and WuXi AppTec. Kai received a B.S. degree in chemistry from Tsinghua University in China, and his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Duke University.
